At the crossroads of blues, funk and rock, the music of Yemen Blues is tinged with different influences from the Middle East. Proving once again the timelessness of ancestral grooves, the group, led by the very charismatic singer Ravid Kalahani, winds between black-American music and the vibrations of the Saharan desert, Nubians, Gnawi, Tuaregs, Saidi and Bambara.
